A PNW Studio

A small shop for the thrill of the find.

— Our story —

How One of Studio started.

One of Studio began with a feeling. A spark I’ve carried since my teens. My mom and I used to spend our favorite time wandering antique shops and flea markets around the world, finding treasures in places most people never thought to look. Over time, these outings became our rituals: moments of connection, curiosity, and delight.

As my life evolved—marriage, motherhood, new cities—the thrill of the find stayed with me. But time grew short, responsibilities grew big, and the joy of discovering something truly special became harder to reach. I started One of Studio to bring that feeling back. Not just for me, but for anyone who loves a home filled with meaning, warmth, and story.

Today, I source unique pieces across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Items with history. Items with personality. Items that make you stop and say, “I’ve never seen that before, but it feels like me.” Because homemaking isn’t about perfection. It’s about small moments, personal details, and the stories we choose to live with.

One of Studio is the thrill of the hunt, curated with care.

It’s a reminder that the old dreams we return to often become the ones worth pursuing.

How a piece makes the shop

Three things that inspire me.

01

Texture + Warmth

Pieces that feel handmade, worn-in, layered, or imperfect in the best way. Objects that make a home feel more personal.

02

Story

I love the story behind a piece. Which is why I share details about how it was made, what it was used for, and why it still feels beautiful today.

03

Possibility

A lamp worth rewiring. A chair worth reupholstering. Some of the best pieces are the ones that can be cleaned up, repaired, restored, or reimagined over time.

A few principles.

  • One of one

Every piece is singular, often unlikely to appear the same way again.

  • Honest photos

Every piece is photographed and described as clearly and honestly as possible.

  • Packed with care

Every order is packed by hand in the Portland studio by me.

  • Reimagined

Every piece has good bones. Time is taken to clean, repair, and restore it so that it can be reimagined over time.
