These vintage fish-shaped plates by Enesco were made in Japan in the 1960s and reflect the playful geometry of mid-century design. Finished in a deep green glaze with a graphic black net pattern, they have a rich, layered look that feels bold and a little unexpected.

Enesco, best known for its “Precious Moments” figurines, imported a wide range of ceramics from Japan throughout the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s. This set is a beautiful example of those earlier vintage imports.
