A large hand-built pottery vessel made by the Rarámuri (Tarahumara) people of the Sierra Madre mountains in northern Mexico, constructed using the traditional coil-and-scrape method rather than a wheel. The rounded form, rough hammered texture, and rawhide strips wrapped around the body are hallmarks of the piece, made entirely by hand.

Sold with its original iron tripod stand. Beautiful on a floor or a large console, filled with florals or placed next to books and similar objects.

Can also be displayed without the stand, though its rounded base will require a stable, flat surface.
