The No. 811, known as the Prague Chair, was originally designed by Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann around 1925–1930, and has been in continuous production ever since. Steam-bent beechwood frame, hand-woven cane seat and backrest, and a silhouette that has never felt dated.

This pair was made by FMG in Radomsko, Poland, a factory originally established by the Thonet Brothers in 1881. After WWII it was nationalized but continued using the original Thonet steam-bending machinery and techniques — making FMG pieces original-legacy productions rather than replicas. The original paper labels are intact on both chairs.

Great vintage condition. Caning intact on both chairs. Wear to armrests and legs consistent with age and use.
